When I launch AutoCAD I'm prompted to activate it with a serial number or network license. I chose serial number. The first time it did this I stepped through all of the steps to get our activation code and tried to run it. The second time it just moved on because it already had the serial number. The help menu says that a first time launch may connect to the Internet. Since it can't, AutoCAD says the license server isn't running, and it aborts.
